Hello Otaku Island members and guests, Admin here! It’s currently 10-08-2021 as of writing! Please mind our dust, this is currently an independent project, so there are still things unfinished that I’m working on. When I feel prepared and think we have enough members to warrant it, I’ll likely open a moderator application event. At current, O.I. is quite small and unpopulated, so we will see how the future of our forum and site pans out, but we do hope you’ll stick with us and have fun with fellow members! Otaku Island is always happy to have you and we would love to see this site flourish into an active community of fellow nostalgic anime fans who enjoy that sort of thing as well!
On other note, a suspected bot has been banned for advertising some forum of health supplements. This sort of thing is not tolerated on O.I. and has been dealt with.
Also, new themes should be coming soon! At current, there is the default pink, blue, yellow, and green! A purple color is planned, but I also want to implement some other such themes like holidays and other such events! If you have any suggestions for new themes, please leave them in the suggestion thread! That should be all for now!

A quick 10-5-2023 update for all who visit;
Recently, Otaku Islands underwent a mass spam of bots and bot created threads. These have all been deleted and the bots behind these threads were banned and deleted. It's all been cleaned up now! We apologize for any inconvenience. If you are to ever spot a bot thread or member, please report them immediately so they may be deleted and removed! Thank you!

Another quick update as of 12-13-2023;
Another mass of bots has been cleaned up. All accounts suspected of being bots were deleted as of today as well as the the threads they created here in the Rules & Overview section as well as in General Discussion. We once again apologize for this inconvenience and continue to welcome anyone who may wish to join our little slice of Net Paradise!
